Amelia De Los Santos is an associate with Thompson & Reilley, P.C. Ms. De Los Santos obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from Trinity University in 1994 graduating cum laude. She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1997. Her experience includes all aspects of commercial litigation including products liability litigation (silicone breast implants/phenylpropanolamine/gasoline), securities litigation, insurance litigation (disability/life/commercial general liability/title), contract litigation, and business disputes. She has successfully obtained summary judgments in six-figure cases for two large insurance clients in the District of Nevada as well as maintained a favorable arbitration award for a brokerage house on appeal to the Ninth Circuit. Ms. De Los Santos was initially licensed in Nevada in 1997 and practiced for two large firms in Las Vegas before moving home to Texas in 2005. She is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, the Southern District of Texas, the District of Nevada, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also serves as a trustee (board member) of her neighborhood board and chairs a pool committee commissioned by that board.
